The Hair Affair

I spent one of my free days (self awarded no-work day) watching YouTube to pick up some tips on washing make-up brush, eye shadow application and hairdo make-up! So here I am sharing some successful tries!

1. Messy bun look - easy to manage, quick to do up. I will opt for such look whenever I have bad hair day or when I'm in a rush! Doesn't minus the glam at all

2. French braid - finally got it! Cute look for picnic and summer / spring look

3. Clip your fringe with messy finishing - for a night chillax look:)

4. Clean bun look - for removing make-up times (if ppl were to candid shot you, you will not look messy!) and when you don't want your fringe to irritate you.

Virgin trip to SYF display band & Dirt Biking

Took quite a bit of photos for the display band 2012 competition, but guess it will only be wow if you watch videos of it. Was discussing about display bands with my erkem self proclaimed secondary school friends hahaaah

They were telling me how grand it was when the competition was held in National stadium. The bands were very powerful, drum majors were being idolized and they did formations to impress. Nowadays, bands use American march and they only do patterns instead of formation now. Meaning, we used to see the people forming tower, planes, tank, guns etc but now its just circles and impressive marches etc. Bands back then used to fight for the glory of championship as the winning band would get a chance to perform in NDP that was held in National Stadium as well. Things have changed, National Stadium was supposed to tear down when I was in Secondary school, but it is STILL around. Not sure what our go*ernment wanna do with it seriously, the place that holds much memories!

Anyway, the ever impressive bands are usually Bowen, De Yi and TK. Cedar Girls used to champ, but withdrew after that. TK won it this year again, with this massive impressive flag flown over the ground! (Not sure if they will get sued as I thought SG flag is not supposed to be used anyhow. We even need to get license for events to use it LOL)

Such an arty pharty Saturday, I had an adventurous Sunday!

Dirt Biking was a surprise discover and we just went ahead with the event. Cool huh!

After dirt biking, we had a little time left and went to City Square for dinner and snacks. Dinner @ Nando's where prices are the same as Singapore, but charged in RINGGIT! Like wise for my purchase of nail polish in Face Shop and bites from Auntie Anne's!

Realise bubble dyes are so much cheaper in Malaysia Watson's, I shall bring a bigger bag or drive a bigger car next time to carry back those contact lens solutions and hair dyes!

Going for a dive this Friday before a trip to Mount KK next week. I feel like an adventure girl now lol!

Nothing kinky okay, it's just the long awaited Wake boarding update is here!:)

As usual, we met up at Changi Village. Sadly, Changi Village hawker is closed for renovation!! No delicious Nasi Lemak that day, and the reno will continue till Q4 2012. WAHHHH just as I decided to try that legendary Nasi Lemak with Pio :(

Realise it's hard to meet That's it recently as all of us have to abide to our busy schedules. Though its a pity that most outings are not full strength, I think that makes the Full Gathering a more meaningful one in future! Like its hard to have one, so you cherish when there is one:) With one man down in Dubai, we are still connected via technologies! hahah We're learning new things abt Dubai everyday, so next time i wanna exclaim a curse i shall go Shuhada!

Belated happs

Testing out this new app that I've just downloaded! Technology is amazing, we can blog on the go whoohoo! I have a new pastime while waiting for my dad at polyclinic or hospital now. As compared to shopping on Gmarket app, this is more cost saving hiak hiak;)

Btw, wheel chair bounded is not exactly so bad afterall, we got priority queue at crowded polyclinic and that saves tons of time! Yay!

Quite a fair bit of happenings lately, shall update a full blog on our wakeboarding session when I get to my macky-air:)

Recently, I went to smith's authentic british fish & chips with jj, and snapped some Pictures with his big ass Samsung galaxy note!!! Samsung's display is damn amazing, all pictures just look nicer and sharper and richer on it, this ex Samsung supporter is getting all jealous now haha!

See that superb capture of the blue sky and shop front below? hmm! And that glass of beer with all the details from the bubbles, and the little snacks we bought at I12 katong! Hehe

A surprise visit by Tony, who was back for a few days before his dive at Maldives. Is Maldives disappearing soon? Seems like he is the 4th group of friends visiting Maldives this year! Shi Jie is heading up in July for his dives, I must so plan for mine in the next two years!

The Brudda (jj and tony) caught up quite a bit after our mahjong session, and ended up at timbre after our dinner at Okinawa food place at B1 Liang court. The food was superb but I forgot pictures when all I think about was food for the famished soul ;) oh yea, finally seen the legendary boyfriend from good fellas, lol!

Going for SYF display band competition later! I was so involved in symphonic bands back then that I didn't quite get to see display at all. (except the compulsory trip to national stadium to watch the then syf in primary 4! U guys remember? Hehe and P5 we got to watch NDP preview, cheap thrill but yay got goodie bags with little toys back then!) shall try to insta few pics later, I think de Yi is performing, whose display band was gold with honor (if I'm not wrong) previous round. FriendSssss' school is in as well! Bowen sec alumni, I will be your spy Ahaha ok i'm supposed to cheer for Springfield, Where my free tic comes from :)

Inaugural Event

So that explains, the first event of Life Acmatic was successfully done! Was really glad to receive some encouragement from choonie, and the words from kind friends who were impressed by my delivery and public speaking, and the acknowledgement of the burst of energy.

种种的成功失败，别无选择；堆堆的人生经验，得来不易。Will persevere the zest and march forward with greater pride:D

Pal had actually recommended me to his director for an executive role in his communications company. That's really sweet of him, I have this sudden urge to ace the interview and return to the work force and keep Life Acmatic alive on a side line. hehe not giving up yet don't worry! Your channel of activities string will not be disconnected yet=D LA will still function as planned. Just that Papa Neo's medical expenses have depleted the medisave a bit and i thought it's always good to keep the Medisave afloat for my unforeseen illness and my mum's future needs. Little insider stories that I can't share, but I believe one path leads to another. I will return, stronger:)

Met up with B****a Yao and Coolie Pio after the event day to have a proper catch up. Feels good to have such gathering once in a while to catch up about lives. Our dear friends are going HKG! whoohoo! and I will be heading to Mount Kota Kinabalu while they are eating wan tou sek. hahaha but I believe those are their well deserve breaks for selling their souls away month after month.

To my #1 blog fan, we are in plans to save and target to celebrate our friendship with ya in 2013! However, short vision friends like us can only confirm details nearer to date since we are unsure of our next month location 9-to-5. hahaha In any case, we are preparing hehe I want to see the ginormous fish tank and enjoy the "sand scrub"!
